Modern Conferencing Delivered
to Bainbridge City Council Chambers

The City of Bainbridge, Georgia, sought to modernize its Council Chambers with a new presentation and conferencing solution that enhances public meetings and supports hybrid participation. The project leveraged a mix of new and existing components to deliver a cost-effective upgrade. S&L Integrated designed, built, and installed an audio/video system tailored for intuitive operation, reliable content sharing, and seamless integration with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other soft-codec platforms.
The Challenge
The city’s existing technology no longer met the demands of modern hybrid public meetings, limiting collaboration and visual communication. While much of the legacy equipment remained functional, the system required new integration to enable flexible content sharing, high-quality video capture, and streamlined control from the Clerk’s desk—all without overhauling existing infrastructure.

Dual PTZ Cameras Installed
Replaced older units with high-definition PTZ models for clear coverage of council and public.

HDMI Connectivity Points
Installed new HDMI inputs at the Clerk’s desk and lectern for direct content presentation.
USB Conferencing Integration
Added USB connection at the Clerk’s desk, linking local peripherals for Teams/Zoom use.
Leadership bench display screens
Installed seven displays, including one at the City Manager’s station mirroring main presentation content.
Assistive Listening System
Integrated for ADA compliance and improved accessibility for all meeting participants.
Touchscreen System Control
10” touch panel provides intuitive control of audio, video, recording, and streaming functions.
Recording and Streaming Device
Configured for capture of multiple sources with selectable layouts and SD card recording.
The Solution
S&L Integrated delivered a flexible, user-friendly presentation and conferencing system that combined new video, control, and content-sharing components with existing AV assets. The design emphasized intuitive operation via a 10-inch touchscreen, improved video capture quality, and robust connectivity for hybrid meetings—ensuring the system aligns with city workflows while supporting future upgrades.
